Make A Skull Candle Holder

In this video, a skull is casted from plaster of Paris and a candle with a dripping effect is added to the casted skull. A hole is drilled into the top to fit a tea light candle with the finished model emulating a dripping candle over a skull. A suitable prop for this time of the year – Halloween, plus a dark piece of decor for all year round.

The model created in this video is built in view of making a latex mold, to cast further reproductions in concrete. the model will be used as the template or pattern to make the latex mold. Paint Effects | Iron Rust

Creating an iron rust effect using acrylic paint. First, undercoat/prime the item/cast with a base coat of orange mixed with black. Dry brush a heavy coat of silver metallic paint. Paint another coat of orange mixed with black and wipe with cloth or paper towel. Spatter differing shades of orange mixed with black over the last coat while wet. Finish with subtley high-lighting areas by dry brushing with silver metallic paint.

Artist Cliff Lee, experienced a near fatal stroke in 2013 at the age of 39. Many a soul would have crumbled at the staggering impact of this event, but not Cliff. Over the last few years Cliff has taught himself to create a new style of artwork with his non dominant hand, and has gone on to stage many exhibitions in the North Devon area. Cliff remains positive and focused on his goals. An inspirational refreshment to all that meet him. All the work in this book has been produced by Cliff since his stroke. Darren Lee, Cliff’s eldest brother, supports Cliff in his journey, and has created the descriptive writing to go with Cliff’s pictures.

Just trying out the green screen feature in Wondershare Filmora. I found an old sheet, which was actually faded blue and tried out overlaying video images. Now all I need to do is get a good quality coloured green screen sheet or background to improve quality.
