Paint a concrete leaf in a festive style. This leaf was going to be painted up for the Christmas period, but had to wait until January after a bout of man-flu!
Acrylic paints are used to paint the concrete leaf, including Ultramarine Blue for the base coat Crimson Red, Pthalo Green and Violet for the dry-brushed layers, plus black and white to darken and lighten the colours.
Silver and bronze metallic paint are used for the final highlights, mixing metallic paints with colours to create a Mother-Of-Pearl effect.
