Part III in this series of using a variety of colours to paint an EasyFlo 60 resin casted figurine and in this case the resin cast is that of a Netsuke turtle-dragon which some of you may have seen appearing on the channel in past videos. In this video, we apply a wash over the model after the first two stages of basecoat and highlights.

PART FOUR | MAKE A CELTIC MIRROR | Crystacal R Frame Prototype & Paint FX

It has been a while coming, but here is part four in the ‘making a Celtic mirror’ series. In part three we tested the mold by pouring Crystacal R plaster into the mold to create a cast. In this video we test the cast and apply some paint FX, fix a mirror inside the frame and make sure measurements and fitting is how we want it to be before proceeding and casting using materials such as concrete and fibreglass for our future finished Celtic mirrors!

Blue Patina & Bronze Paint FX On Concrete Leaf

In this video we apply washes and the dry brushing technique to create a faux blue patina with bronze paint effects. As you can mostl likely tell from the thumbnail, the object getting the paint FX treatment is a concrete leaf. The concrete leaf has been featured on the channel wih other paint jobs and you can also find out how to make a concrete leaf from scratch, make a latex leaf mold along with many other leaf molding and casting videos on the channel.
